These tools and resources can help you start and scale your low-content and medium-content publishing journey on Amazon. 

I have carefully compiled this list of the best kdp tools and resources keeping in mind both beginners and experienced self-publishers. 

Since I began my self-publishing journey in May 2017, I have used many KDP tools to find keywords, identify profitable niches, create book interiors, and design book covers.

So, today in this blog post, I will be sharing the tool and resources based on my own experience.

This is the latest kdp keyword and niche research tool from self-publishing titans. In my opinion, Titans Pro is by far the best tool to identify potential kdp niches and keywords.

This is another Chrome extension from self-publishing titans that helps you further analyze a keyword or niche to make sure it is worth your time and effort.

It works in combination with Titans Pro and shows you an overall picture of a given keyword. Like I have entered the keyword “dot markers coloring book” into the Amazon search bar and hit enter.

As you can see, titans quick view not only shows the opportunity and demand analysis but also shows me the other helpful data. 

It shows the Amazon search results with further details like no of books having the exact math title, and the number of individually published books on the first page. It also shows the average best seller rank, average reviews, and the average price.

So, overall it’s a wonderful kdp tool that can save you a lot of time and effort while finding low-competition kdp keywords and niche ideas.

3. Book Bolt: All-in-One KDP Tool

When it comes to finding low-competition keywords and niche ideas book bolt has a couple of tools that help you out. 

You can use the Book Bolt keyword finder tool to identify potential kdp niches and keywords very quickly and easily. Like Titans Pro, Book Bolt also shows you the estimated Amazon search volume, amazon search results, and competition analysis.

4. Helium10

Helium10 is another amazon kdp tool that I used myself to find kdp keywords and niches with low competition. It has a free version and a paid version.

The free version allows you to do limited searches per day and it shows you very limited data. You can upgrade to one of their monthly plan which is very expensive and won’t be a great fit for you if are on a very tight budget.

So, I would only recommend helium10 for advanced publishers who are already making $500-1000 from Amazon KDP.

KDP Tools & Resources for Creating Book Interiors & Covers

When it comes to creating kdp interiors, there are a lot of tools and resources for that. I have used a handful of those tools and resources for my books. These tools vary according to the type of books you want to create.

1. Book Bolt Studio

Creative Fabrica is one of my favorite resources for getting kdp interiors, graphics, clipart, coloring pages, book cover templates, and more.

I have been using Creative Fabrica since November 2020. At the moment there are over 178K kdp interiors and resources available on the platform.

3. Instant Puzzle Generator

Instant puzzle generator is one of my favorite tools to create word search puzzle books. It’s a cloud-based app that allows you to create stunning word search puzzle books in a matter of minutes.

As you can see in the image above, I have created Winter Word Search Puzzles in a few clicks. To create word search puzzles in this app all you need is a list of words saved in .txt or .csv.

Then you can upload the word list to instant puzzle generator and it creates high-quality word search puzzles in no time.

4. Math Worksheet Generator

You can also upload your own elements to create unique kdp interiors. In canva, you can also create very simple coloring books and activity books for kids. 

Overall canva is a great resource for both beginner and advanced kdp publishers to create book interiors and book covers.
