Today I am going to share my thoughts about why you are not succeeding with Amazon KDP or any other online income source. Or why don’t you see any results even after putting in your precious time and effort?
I will share the most common reasons that stop people from earning money online. And this applies to amazon kdp as well. KDP publishers who are making no sales or very low sales could benefit from this blog post as well.
As I have been doing these passive income things since 2013, therefore, I have a fairly good idea of why most beginners fail online and end up quitting what they had started with great motivation.

Not having the right expectations about online income ideas or side hustles is one of the biggest reasons that lead to making very little or no money online.

Let’s say you watched a video on YouTube about a KDP publisher who is making thousands of dollars every single month by publishing no content and low-content books, you get motivated and start dreaming about having the same kind of income with amazon kdp.
Following are the wrong expectations you may have while starting with Amazon KDP low-content books;
- Amazon kdp is extremely easy
- I can publish a bunch of lined journals and notebooks and start making $1,000/m
- I will start making money the very first month of uploading books
- Most of my books will sell on kdp
- I can publish books in a bunch of random niches
- I will be financially free in 3 to six months
Your expectations may be different, the point is you may be coming from very high expectations that are going to lead you to disappointment very soon.
On the other hand, if you treat the kdp low content book publishing as a business and understand that it may take a lot of time and effort, and you commit to staying consistent over a period of time, then the chances of your success would be great.

The 2nd biggest thing that can stop anyone from being successful with any given business idea is falling prey to distractions.
The fact of the matter is you watch a lot of videos and posts on social media about shiny objects and you think this is the thing that can make me a lot of money very quickly. What happens next is you stop working on the project at hand and start dabbling in your newly discovered passive income idea.
It is a sad truth that we are living in an Era of distractions where Focus is becoming a rare commodity. This leads many people to dabble into 10 different things and focus on none.
If you read about the most successful people in the world you will find one thing in common, they all are laser-focused on what they do. Let’s say if Bill Gates was focussing on 10 different things instead of working on building Microsoft, no one would know him today!
Therefore, your inability to focus on one thing for a longer period can be the no.1 reason behind your failure to accomplish something meaningful.
If you are interested, I can give you a very simple solution for that! Just focus on ONE income idea for the next 12 months and say NO to every new income idea. If you manage to do that, you will surely achieve something great in what you are focussing on.
The next thing that may stop you from earning online or succeeding in any business ideas is a BIG one! If you get this right, no one can stop you from making money!

# 3 – You Are Too Focused On Making Money!
One of the things that stop people from making money online is being too worried about Making Money!
Let me explain, the person whose prime object is to make money ends up creating low-quality product or service. On the other hand, a person who is great at serving others and providing the end user with something valuable makes more money in the process.
If we put it in different words, you won’t be making any money if you don’t understand how money works or how people make a lot of money online or offline. The people who make a lot of money are the ones who understand and create something very valuable for the marketplace.
All you need to understand is if you create something that adds value to the life of a lot of people, you will end up making a lot of money. So, you should be more focused on providing value instead of being worried about not making enough money.
So, starting today, jot down ideas about how you can be helpful to the people you are serving. This is important because the man who serves the most is the man who earns the most.
The bottom line is, your priority should be creating value, if you do that well the money will follow on its own!
Let me explain with my example, I am writing this blog post with the intention of providing value to you and I am much less concerned about how much I will earn from this blog post.
Similarly, whenever, I upload a video on my YouTube channel, I upload it to teach something that I know, while doing this I just don’t care about what I will earn from it.
