When it comes to making money with low content books, it boils down to the amount of effort you put in and the type of books you create. On top of that, the quality of the books you create plays an important role as well.

For example, I have one book that generates almost 40% of my monthly royalties every single month. On the other hand, I have many low and no content books that don’t sell a single copy!

After publishing a lot of low content books I have come to an interesting conclusion and that is;

“A low content book that took me a lot of time and effort to create is the one that sells the most and generates me a passive income.”

This is mainly because, the low content books that take more time and effort to create tend to have less competition. And the reason is self-explanatory, most people tend to avoid hard things and hence they try to create a whole bunch of easy-to-make books like journals, sketchbooks, recipe books, etc.

So, If you really want to make money with kdp low content books then I want you to be more than willing to put in work and make books that most people are not willing to create.

How Do You Make Money With Kdp Low Content Books?

Creating and selling low content books is basically a three-step process that I personally follow every single time whenever I plan to create a low content book to publish on KDP.

This three-step process includes:

Step 1 – Research

This is the first and perhaps the most important step in low content publishing. If you manage to do this right then the other two steps become very easy and fruitful.

The kdp low content book research step includes:

  • Coming Up with the Low Content Book Ideas: In this step, you need to find low content books ideas.
  • Validating the Books Ideas On Amazon: In this next step, you validate your book ideas on amazon to confirm that the given book idea has a decent demand but low competition.

Finding and validating potential low content book ideas is also known as kdp niche research. I have several videos about kdp niche research, below is one of them.

  • Finding Relevant Keywords: In this step, you need to find as many relevant keywords as many you can. This is also known as kdp keyword research and there are many ways to do keyword research for low content books.

By the way, I have videos on kdp keyword research on my youtube channel as well. Here is one of the kdp keyword research videos, you may find it helpful.

Step 2 – Creating KDP Interiors

Once you have come up with a profitable low content book idea and relevant keywords, your next step is to create or outsource the interior and cover for that book.

The good news is you can kdp interiors and cover yourself using Canva for free. On the other hand, if you don’t have time to create kdp interiors then you can get interiors from sites like Creative Fabrica.

As a side note, you need to modify the interiors taken from any site before publishing to amazon kdp.

I have a detailed article on how to create kdp interiors using Canva. Just check out the below post:

Step 3 – Uploading Your Book On KDP

This is the final and most fun step in the kdp low content publishing business. In this step, you will be uploading your low content book on amazon kdp. To do that you need to craft a title, subtitle, and a compelling book description for your low content book.

I think watching a step-by-step video on how to upload your book on kdp would be a great idea! Luckily, I have a video on that as well, and you can watch it below;

How Many Pages Should a Low Content Book Have?

I have published well over 1200 books on amazon, both low content and no content book during the last 4-5 years and most of them have over 100 pages.

Most low content books are 100 pages, however, it depends upon the type of the book. As some kids’ activity books that fall under the umbrella of the low content books have around 30 to 40 pages.

Coloring books generally have 60 to 100 pages and they come with 30 to 50 coloring images on alternate pages.

My Final Thoughts!
