My Amazon Ad Spend

Amazon ads are the only marketing channel I use to promote my books and get sales. This is one of the best ways to generate sales, especially for newly released books.

Here is what I spent on Amazon ads last month to generate sales and book royalties:

I spent a total of $309.35 on ads, which brought me 132 orders and over $1,368 in book sales.

  • Total Ad Spend: $309.35
  • Orders from Ads: 132
  • Total Sales Generated: $1,368+

Next, comes the net profit % ROI…

Net Profit & ROI

Here are my net profits for the month of August:

Total Income: $614.54

Ad Spend: $309.35

Net Income/Profit: $305.19

That means I made over $305 in profit with around a 50% profit margin.

Put another way: every time I spend $100 on ads, I get back about $200 in royalties — or $100 in profit. That’s a pretty solid ROI in my books.
