I also have a paid monthly membership and I can read a lot of useful content daily which further increases my knowledge of the platform.

To make money with a medium partner program, you need to join their partner program which has the following requirements:

• Become a Medium member ($5/Mon or $50/Year)
• Have published a story within the last 6 months
• Be located, and file taxes, in an eligible country
• Be at least 18 years old

#1 Affiliate Marketing

Medium allows you to add affiliate links within your stories however you need to disclose that anywhere in your story. 

You can add an affiliate disclaimer towards the beginning, in between the story, or towards the end. 

I use affiliate links in my stories as I share the tools and resources for amazon kdp publishers. I only share products that I have tested and found useful for my readers.

#2  Build an Email List

You can write stories on the medium that add value to your readers. While doing so, you can build an email list that you can monetize down the road.

You can also make money by promoting your product or service within your stories. I have seen people promoting their digital products which they sell on sites like Gumroad.
